Emilea Wilson is an Actor / Artist based in New York City. Recently, she has appeared Off-Broadway at Theatre for the New City in the musical production of "Who Murdered Love" written and directed by Lissa Moira. Emilea performed in "Open Rehearsal," a staged reading also with Theatre for the New City written and directed by Lazarre Simpkes, Burt Royal's "Dog Sees God" at The Barrow Group, directed by Susanne Boulle; "Jumpin' the Gun" written and directed by Kyle Overstreet for The Network NYC One-Act Festival, where Emilea won Best Supporting Actress of the festival for her role as Julie. The one-act play has been accepted to the Strawberry One-Act Festival, which will open in August. The film adaptation of "Jumpin' the Gun" will begin shooting in July. She will also begin production of the film, "No More Bad Meat" in early June. Emilea has been seen regionally in productions of "The Ghost Sonata," "Betty's Summer Vacation" directed by Eric Forsythe, and various other new works in conjunction with the University of Iowa New Play Festival. As company member of the newly established theatrical company,Tabula Rasa, she will help to produce two new works of live performance: "Rex Sinister" which was in residence at Chez Bushwick and the upcoming "Fresh Tendrils." This summer will include training with Anthony Abeson. Emilea has received her BA from the University of Iowa in Theatre Arts and Journalism and Mass Communications.
